I’m the artist behind oh my word y’all.
I'm a bit of a collage purist - I love to use magazines, scissors, and glue to make my art. But I do enjoy adding paint and other mediums - I'm always experimenting! I primarily use my collection of NatGeo magazines from the 1960s - 1990s and some vintage magazines and books I’ve collected over the years.
Flipping through vintage magazines and books feeds my nostalgic soul. The ads are my favorite. I almost feel bad cutting them up… almost.
You may also find miscellaneous sassy merch in my shop, depending on where my mood takes me.
My inspiration can come from anywhere and it's fun to see where my creativity takes me for each piece. Each one is super special to me and I'm so happy to share them with you!
